Tetbury in Bone by The Design House

Although the room was large, it was North facing and had little natural light so the client wanted to brighten the room and make more of the large space they had for a kitchen. They were also keen to retain a classic feel to their design and selected Tetbury for its elegant styling and timeless quality, with Painted Bone as the dominant colour combined with Natural Oak for added warmth and interest. The client’s large dining table was replaced by a large, functional island with 60mm thick oak worktops used to clad the end of the island and form a smart curved breakfast bar area. Adding to the grandeur of the kitchen is the bespoke mantle over the range – creating a beautiful focal point in the room. The pantry dresser works particularly well – providing excellent storage to neatly hideaway every day essentials behind beautiful cabinetry. For added style, the pantry was fitted with Burbidge smart timber dovetail drawer boxes and internal drawer fronts, as well as door hung spice racks. The finishing touch is a slab of 20mm Sensa Ice Blue granite to keep items cool.
