150 Years of Burbidge – New Logo Kick-starts a Year of Celebrations

Marking the start of what promises to be a major year of celebrations ahead, Burbidge has unveiled a brand new logo to commemorate its 150th anniversary.

Burbidge was launched by wood-worker Henry Burbidge in 1867 originally as a manufacturer of wood turned sports equipment before expanding into the KBB market in the early 90’s. Fast forward 150 years and Burbidge is widely recognised as the longest standing kitchen manufacturer in Britain and a pioneer of premium and exceptionally crafted kitchen design. To mark the occasion, Burbidge is delighted to unveil a brand new look logo which denotes a more modern, elegant and bold ethos, and also features a separate special-edition ‘150th anniversary’ tagline for this year only. The new logo can now be seen on the business premises and all promotional material. However, this is just the start of the 150th anniversary activity with lots more in the pipeline which will see customers, colleagues and other stakeholders, old and new, help celebrate this exceptional milestone.

Our business has reached an incredibly important milestone; very few businesses have been around for as long as we have, and it’s a remarkable achievement. We are proud to be celebrating 150 years of Burbidge – especially as in 2017 we are stronger and more successful than ever. “We will be marking the company’s anniversary – and future – with a variety of events and activities throughout the year, and are kicking off the celebrations by launching our brand new logo.” He adds: “As a business founded on its design credentials it’s vital that our brand identity reflects our strong contemporary views and business proposition. We are therefore delighted to reveal our bold new logo, putting us in good stead for another 150 years of success.
