Originally developed in Light Grey and Porcelain, the smooth Stowe kitchen has quickly become a best-seller since launching earlier this year, favoured by homeowners looking for a kitchen design which is cutting-edge yet retains a timeless appeal. Cleverly combining the classical proportions of the iconic shaker style with a flawless, smooth finish, Stowe offers a clean, minimal look that is so desirable in today’s contemporary home.
However, in recognising an emerging demand for smooth painted finishes coupled with a wider breadth of colour options, Burbidge has extended the range to offer greater design freedom for the creative consumer. As such, Stowe will now be available to order in any of the 25 colours from Burbidge’s painted palette as well in bespoke colours.
This move coincides with a major investment into a new paint spray facility, enabling the ever-expanding kitchen manufacturer to achieve a premium, flawless finish on its smooth shaker doors.
Ben Burbidge, managing director at Burbidge comments: “Following the dominance of gloss and matt over recent years, we are now seeing an emerging trend for smooth painted finishes. As such, it was no surprise that our Stowe range has quickly become so popular since launching just earlier this year.
“Therefore, in recognising the additional trend for creative scope when it comes to colour, it seemed the natural next step to extend the range with even more options. We’ve invested heavily in new finishing technology in order to further develop our capabilities. We are confident that Stowe will have further mass consumer appeal and prove a big hit for retailers.”
